Submissions Terms and Conditions


The Merced FOCUS welcomes letters to the editor, news tips, op-eds and photo submissions. You can email us at comms@cvlocaljournalism.org or become a registered member on our website and use the form below.

All submissions must satisfy and abide by the following conditions: 

  • Letters to the editor must not exceed 200 words, and op-eds must not exceed 500 words. 
  • All submissions must include contact phone number and email address
  • Any submission can be edited for purposes of clarity and brevity. 
  • All letters and submissions are considered the property of the Merced Focus.
  • Photos submitted to CVJC can be republished at any time.
