The comedic play “POTUS or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive,” will be presented Thursday, Feb. 6 through Sunday, Feb. 9 at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center.
Written by Selina Fillinger, the play examines how when a fictional president inadvertently turns a public relations disaster into a global crisis, seven brilliant and beleaguered women must risk life, liberty, and their sanity to keep the commander-in-chief out of trouble, according to a news release.

This production features a talented cast of local artists, including Carin J. Heidelbach, Carol Vandegrift, Yaya Muñoz, Ileisha Sanders, Myisha Reed, Bridget Mitchell and Abigail Roe.
POTUS is presented in collaboration with the Phoenix Creative Collective and the Merced County Arts Council.
